Database normalization without contraints

your plan sounds great and I am looking forward to see the solution in action. For sure a challenging task,. One thing I'd be curious to see is how you'll be dealing with highly normalized databases in which no constraints/relationships have been defined. Unfortunately this is a scenario I am facing rather often.

In the first few go-arounds you will be able to generate entities from tables and attributes from fields.    We hadn't talked about allowing allowing users to define their own relationships, but that is something that sounds like a logical progression of the product over time.

While the product will never be a one-shot instant port, the idea is to have a tool that accellerates the process of porting apps.  I forsee that some work will always have to be done by the user.  Depending on cycles and bandwidth we will eventually look at adding features that allow you to modify and massage your schema.
